    Forskningsinteresser

    Forskningsinteresser:

    Jeg er førsteamanuensis i epidemiologi ved Institutt for samfunnsmedisin og forskningsgruppeleder for Systemepidemiologi. Jeg er også tilknyttet forskningsgruppen Fysisk aktivitet og Folkehelse. Mitt hovedforskningsfelt er innenfor kreftepidemiologi og livsstilsfaktorer, spesielt fysisk aktivitet og trening ved kreft. Et bredere fokus er også på sosiale ulikheter i (folke)helse og studenthelse og trivsel. Jeg har også interesse for forskning innen pedagogisk utvikling med studenter som samarbeidspartnere i å skape forskningsbasert undervisning.

    • Studier på tarmkreft, bukspyttkjertel og nyrekreft og assosiasjoner med modifiserbare livsstilsfaktorer
    • Bruk av en sunn livsstilsindeks og kreftforekomst
    • Selvvurdert helse og overlevelse etter sosioøkonomiske forhold og modifiserbare livsstilsfaktorer
    • Kroppshøyde som markør for sosial ulikhet i helse
    • Leder av «Sunne valg og den sosiale gradienten» (Healthy Choices) og leder av en arbeidspakke i prosjektet med ansvar for et studenthelse- og trivsel og systematisk integrering av forskningsaktiviteter i undervisningen med studenter som partnere.
    • Potensielle traumatiske hendelser opplevelser, psykiske plager hos kreftoverlevere.
    • Kreftregisterstudie av kreftforekomst i Georgia.
    • Bygge akademisk kapasitet innen global helse i Øst-Europa-Sentral-Asia-regionen samarbeid på tvers av Europa og i Georgia, Ukranie og Khasakstan.
