Forskningsinteresser innenfor medfødt og adaptiv immunitet, vaksineutvikling og virussykdommer hos fisk.

Nestleder med ansvar for forskning ved Norges Fiskerihøgskole. 

Leder av forskningsgruppen Fish immunology and vaccinology

Underviser på studieprogrammet i Akvamedisin:

  • Emneansvarlig for  AKV-1400 Introduksjon til akvakultur og fiskehelse
  • Emneansvarlig for Bio-3630 Helsekontroll og klinikk i havbruk
