Jonas Johansson


Stillingsbeskrivelse

Ansatt som forsker II (100%) ved Institutt for samfunnsmedisin (ISM), UiT. Jonas hovedfokus i forskningen er å bruke epidemiologiske forskningsdata fra Tromsø-studien for å studere aldringsprosesser, muskelstyrke, fysisk funksjon og sammenhengen med fysisk aktivitet. Han leder for tiden det vitenskapelige utvalget for den kommende Tromsø8-datainnsamlingsbølgen som er planlagt å finne sted i 2025-2026. Han jobber også med det NFR-finansierte RESTART-prosjektet, en randomisert kontrollert studie som vil undersøke hvordan en kompleks livsstilsintervensjon kan forbedre og opprettholde helsen til eldre voksne over 60 år. Han har en bakgrunn i idrettsfysiologi og fullførte en doktorgrad i folkehelse i 2018.

Jonas er medlem i forskningsgruppen Kroniske sykdommers epidemiologi, og assosiert medlem av forskningsgruppen Sport, physical activity and health

    Undervisning

    Veileder masteroppgaver på masterprogram i folkehelse, masterprogram i klinisk ernæring, og medisinstudiet. Har i perioder undervisningsoppdrag på bachelor i idrettsvitenskap og ernæringsstudiet. Har siden 2012 veiledet 12 masteroppgaver i idrettsmedisin, klinisk ernæring, folkehelse, og medisin.
