    Forskningsinteresser

    Jeg utforsker metabolske og proteinsignaturer til tarmmikrobiomet for å forstå dets funksjoner. Jeg er blant annet interessert i hvordan mikrobiomet medierer koloniseringsresistens mot patogener, hvordan det er knyttet til kreftutvikling, og hvordan det dannes i spedbarnsalderen. Jeg bruker kunnskapen om disse essensielle tarmmikrobiomefunksjonene i strategier for forebygging av sykdommer.
