Har du ikke mulighet til å være ute et helt semester, kan sommerskole i utlandet være et godt alternativ. Hvorfor bruke sommerferien på å studere? Jo, du får både læring og kulturelle opplevelser - noe som kan gi deg en sommer utenom det vanlige. Ikke la muligheten gå fra deg!

De fleste sommerskoler varer fra to til seks uker og er studiepoenggivende. Enkelte sommerskoler kan godkjennes som en del av utdanningen ved UiT Norges arktiske universitet. Dette må avklares i hvert enkelt tilfelle med programansvarlig på studiet ditt. Hvis du skal ha studiepoeng fra sommerskolen godkjent ved UiT, må du søke om utveksling på vanlig måte: Søk om utveksling . Lånekassen kan gi utdanningsstøtte hvis du får sommerskolen godkjent som del av studiet ved UiT. Det finnes flere stipendordninger som gir støtte til sommerkurs: Finansiering & stipendordninger .

Nordisk sommerskole er udviklet i samarbejde mellem Københavns Professionshøjskole (tidligere UCC), Københavns Universitet, Lunds universitet, Högskolan i Kristianstad, Høgskolen i Oslo-Akershus og Unoversitetet i Island.

Christmas Experience Academy - Summer School in Finnish Lapland

Lapland University of Applied Sciences together with the University of Lapland will again arrange the popular Summer School “Christmas Experience Academy” (CEA, 5 ECTS) at the Multidimensional Tourism Institute. It will take place in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland, the heart of the international tourism industry on 11-16 August 2019.

Dette er et studieforberende kurs i fransk, rettet mot deg som skal studere i Frankrike og derfor trenger økte forkunnskaper i muntlig og skriftlig fransk. Kurset arrangeres ved det fransk-norske studiesenteret i Caen med intensiv undervisning over 4 uker i august.

Summer Program in Mountain Studies* June 17-28, 2019 (Frankrike)

Experts from a wide range of disciplines will offer a rich, interdisciplinary view of Alpine history, culture, and environment, in this short program taught in the heart of the Alps.

The program will cover topics as diverse as architecture, economic development, climate change, earth sciences, and history. The course will also take you beyond the classroom and into the mountains in a series of field trips and case studies tied to the latest in current research. The first week will take participants to the Vercors range to learn fist-hand about economic policy and changing local cultural practices.

Participants may choose to enroll in both weeks, or week one only. The cost is € 750 per week, including housing, cultural activities, and mountain field trips. While no academic credits are directly provided by the program, your home institution may choose to award you up to 3 European course credits (ECTS) based on the learning outcomes and expected time commitment (75 hours).

Higher School of Economic, Perm, Russia presents Summer School “Culture of Totalitarian Society and Memory Studies Cases”, 20-31 August 2019

The aim of the RSSIA is to promote research in New Institutional Economics and foster scientific exchange between young researchers, scientists, faculty, and students. It will continue the tradition of previous Summer Schools with paper presentations, workshops, tutorials, faculty presentations, and networking opportunities.

he objective of the Summer School is to bring together the perspectives from different disciplines to study the totalitarian society and its images in late soviet and post-soviet cultures and to familiarize the participants with the phenomena of the past and complex phenomena of modern historical memory. The school is aimed at Bachelor's and Master’s students, graduate students, researchers in history, culture, sociology, anthropology and philosophy, who are interested in the Soviet and post-Soviet periods. The school’s program consists of seminars, workshops, lectures. In addition to classroom activities, field seminars are to be held at Perm archives, museums and memorial sites of the Kama region, including the prominent Perm-36 museum of political repression.

The summer school will address the following issues:

  • Totalitarian state "from the inside." Agents of power at the level of local and regional government institutions
  • Totalitarian cultural space. The aesthetics of the Soviet, non-Soviet, and anti-Soviet
  • Political socialization of Soviet citizens: the Soviet school and propaganda campaign
  • Channels of information and political communication between the government and the population
  • Soviet in the post-Soviet. Culture of memory of the Stalin period in modern Russia

UPF Barcelona International Summer School 2019 (Spania)

The Universitat Pompeu Fabra offers the Barcelona International Summer School (BISS) as a flagship program to advance the curriculum of both domestic and international undergraduate students during the summer term in Barcelona.

Courses are credit-bearing (ECTS) and can be taken in English, Spanish or Catalan, in and international classroom environment. They are structured in modules of different duration and intensity, which can be flexibly combined in periods ranging from one to four weeks.

The BISS offers advanced training by building on UPF academic strengths, engaging leading faculty members to feature and share their current research with participating students.

2019 Linköping University Summer Academy (Sverige)

We are very happy to announce our 4th Linköping University Summer Academy that will take place between 28th June-27th July 2019.

The programme will give students an opportunity to study in Linköping, Sweden, for four weeks, choose from a number of high-quality courses and gain cultural insights together with other students from our international partner universities all around the globe. All courses are at bachelor's level, credit bearing (7.5 ECTS), will be taught in English and are full-time.

The LiU Summer Academy provides a possibility for short term exchange within the framework of our existing exchange agreement. Students who have completed 1 year full-time studies (successfully passed 60 ECTS credits or equivalent upon application) and have a good command of English as stated in our agreement are eligible to all courses. We apply a quota of Summer Academy places and semester places on the basis of 4:1.

For students from LiU's partner universities the LiU Summer Academy is tuition free.

Summer German Course at the Coast 2019
