LEARNING FROM CRISES IN SOCIETAL SAFETY AND SECURITY EDUCATION
The Research Group S3E3 of the Department of Technology and Safety proudly announces that this year's workshop will take place on 2 November 2020. Due to Covid-19, we will not have a traditional conference-type of setting but will organise a 2-hour streamed roundtable in our Tromsø campus, featuring international online guests from Europe and the US. The audience can join online on an interactive platform.
THEME
The roundtable theme is 'Learning from crises'. Related to the ongoing Covid-19 but also taking into account other former and potential future crises of different types and magnitude, the roundtable discusses the issue from the perspective of Societal Safety and Security Higher Education. See more under 'Programme' and 'Roundtable panelists'.
TO WHOM?
The roundtable is open to everyone. The theme is topical, and especially interesting for students and educators, and unlike in previous workshops, we will have also student representation among the panelists.
WHEN AND HOW TO JOIN?
On Tuesday 2 November 2020 at 14-16 CEST.
The roundtable will be professionally streamed from UiT Result studio, connected to the interactive online network.
