This is an online side-event on Tuesday 3 November 2020 at 13:00-15:00 CEST related to the networking project Societal Security collaboration in research and education, funded by the UiT/UArctic. The online meeting is limited to project partners only.
The main idea of the project is to inspire bottom up cross-border cooperation between researchers from the Nordic countries and Russia. The main tool for enhancing this cooperation is that it facilitates the creation of self-organised voluntary groups of two or more researchers from different countries that share a research interest and will produce articles or other publications together. In the current online meeting, we will discuss some of the research already done or in progress.
These include Ass. Prof. Jonas Johansson's (University of Lund) and PhD Bjarte Rød's (UiT) soon-to-be-published article thoroughly reviewing the critical infrastructure resilience literature, which will be commented by Prof. Maksim Shishaev (Murmansk Arctic State University & Kola Science Centre). After that, Prof. Christer Pursiainen (UiT) and Prof. Kamrul Hossain (University of Lapland) present their draft paper that outlines some issues related to the challenges of creating research-practice interfaces in Societal Security in the Baltic Sea Region, commented by Ass. Prof. Emmanuel Raju (University of Copenhagen).
The link to the online meeting will be sent to the particpants.
