The group on Positionality is ready to go!

Written by Emily Margaret Murray, with the participation of Alba Hernández Anta; Ana Maria Montaña Monoga and Sofie Elise Quist

In preparation for the OIN workshop next week, the group responsible for the 'Positionality' portion of the Ocean Literacy toolkit came together (online) to share their creative and inspiring ideas for improving ocean literacy in an intergenerational context.

During the workshop, each group will have an hour and a half to develop an activity/project on an assigned topic and then present it to the rest of the participants, so each group was encouraged to coordinate and meet before hand to share some preliminary ideas. The group members come from different research and education backgrounds, spanning from food sustainability and marine geosciences to international human rights law and global health. After one hour of discussing, the group is feeling very inspired and motivated to meet in-person next week at the Arctic House in Copenhagen, DK to bring their ideas to life!
