I’m Laura, the Project Developer here at OIN. I have a passion for Knowledge Translation and bridging the gap between knowledge generation and application. In more basic terms, I want to ensure that high-quality research gets into the hands of people and organizations who can use it. Part of this role is exploring and learning new ways of communicating information. I have been a storyteller since birth—just ask any of my friends. This is why I am excited to share that I am going to be taking part in a knowledge translation workshop that focuses on the power of storytelling and how to tell the story of your work. This workshop will enhance my skills and abilities to effectively communicate our OIN members' research, utilizing storytelling as a powerful tool for connection!
