The Faculty Board has established the following guiding principles for the process:

• The faculty will not be divided

• The number of departments will be reduced

• The aim is that no employees will be made redundant as a result of the new organizational structure

• The aim is that no employees will be required to change their geographical place of work as a result of the new organizational structure

• Employees at UiT’s Faculty of Health Sciences will have opportunities to participate in the process through all-staff meetings, input sessions, and a formal consultation process

The new organizational structure is scheduled to be in place by winter 2028.
