ECO_CARE emotional literacy team goes to Afghanistan

As part of restitution and further dissemination activities, some ECOCARE members have been actively involved in initiatives to expand the project's impact beyond Norway and Brazil. Among them, Margherita Poto has started a  volunteering role as a mentor within a dedicated program. Thanks to the experience gained in ECO_CARE, She has developed mentorship sessions with Afghan girls, focusing on leadership and the importance of empathy in education. These sessions have sparked important conversations about emotional intelligence and its role in shaping future leaders.

One of the most inspiring outcomes of this initiative is a beautiful piece written by Sughra (17 year old), which reflects the core values of ECOCARE. Her work reflects the transformative potential of empathy and education. You can read her  contribution in the blogpost section on our website.

This initiative has been enriched by the inspiration and collaboration of many team members, including Diletta Babbi, Dana Ahmed, and Igor Peftiyev, who have worked in collaboration with the ECOCARE team to promote emotional literacy for all.
