An Innovative Learning Resource to sustain Ocean Literacy by Mojgan Pooladi

In a collaboration between UiT The Arctic University of Norway, the Department of Management and the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Turin, Mojgan Pooladi, a practicum student involved in "The Ocean Incubator Network" project, has successfully developed an innovative educational resource. This project, supported by UArctic 580512124 and UiT The Arctic University of Norway in collaboration with ECOCARE HKDIR UTF-2020/10084, aims to enhance understanding and engagement with Sustainable Development Goal 14, which focuses on life below water.

Under the guidance of Laura Vita and Margherita Poto, Mojgan Pooladi has crafted an educational video that shares her valuable experiences and provides detailed insights and recommendations for developing educational materials dedicated to ocean literacy. This video is designed to spotlight exemplary student-led projects that contribute significantly to understanding and preserving our oceans.

The educational video is now available for viewing on our Youtube Channel. It serves as a comprehensive learning tool for educators, students, researchers and anyone interested in taking care of our oceans.
