Johnny Fishbone: An environmental literacy initiative co-created with the University of Turin and the ECO_CARE Team
The volume JOHNNY LISCA ritorno al lago dorato. JOHNNY FISHBONE back to the Golden Lake, edited by Concilio C., Poto M. P. et al., is out! Co-created by primary school children in Torino, the volume was published with a contribution dedicated to Public Engagement projects and the partnership of the Department of Foreign Languages, Literatures and Modern Cultures 2021-2023 and by the University of Torino (UniTo), in partnership with the ECO_CARE Team (Margherita Paola Poto, Juliana Hayden and Valentina Russo).
The project ELI - Lab_ Environmental Literacy Initiative: A Laboratory on Storytelling is promoted by the University of Torino and PAV, and adheres to the Unesco 2030 guidelines on Education for Sustainable Development. Its main aim is environmental education addressing Primary School children (aged 6-10) in order to raise their awareness about ecological issues, helping them to become proactive and eco-friendly adults in the future.
