Call for proposals: Det Norske Veritas, fond for grunnforskning

From 2026, Det Norske Veritas Foundation will fund basic scientific research. The research topics are autonomous systems, critical raw materials and societal risks.

Det Norske Veritas Foundation is a freestanding, autonomous and independent foundation whose purpose is to safeguard life, property and the environment. The Foundation will further contribute to its purpose by funding basic scientific research.

In 2026, the Foundation launches its first call for applications, focused on the following research topics: Autonumous systems; Critical raw material; Societal risks call.

Uppdate by June 4th:

Researchers can now submit applications for the 2026 funding calls. The application deadline is 5 July 2026 23:00 (GMT).
