Submit Your Questions for the CALP-5 Insights & Outlooks Roundtable - Deadline: January 5

As part of CALP-5 in Tromsø, we are organizing a special roundtable session featuring leading experts in the fields of Language Pedagogy, Construction Grammar, and Constructicography. The title of this roundtable is “Constructions in Language Pedagogy: Insights and Outlooks.” This session will provide a platform to explore key insights, share perspectives, and discuss the future directions of our field.

We are delighted to have the following keynote experts as discussants:

  • Thomas Herbst (expert on pedagogical construction grammar),
  • Hans Boas (expert on pedagogical construction grammar and frame semantics),
  • Margunn Rauset (expert on lexicography and Norwegian),
  • Olesya Kisselev (expert on L2 acquisition and novel pedagogical resources),
  • Sabine De Knop (expert on pedagogical construction grammar)
  • Benjamin Lyngfelt (expert on constructicography)

This roundtable is envisioned as an open, live discussion between the keynote experts and the audience. To assist our discussants in preparing for the session, we kindly ask participants to submit concrete questions in advance.

All conference participants (including discussants) are invited to submit their questions by Monday, January 5, 2026 via https://nettskjema.no/a/roundtable. You may submit the form multiple times as you come up with additional questions. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask further questions during the live discussion. The roundtable will be moderated.
