Travelling to Tromsø
From Oslo to Tromsø there is a two-hours flight. There is no communication by train to Tromsø. Most international flights go via Oslo. From the UK there are good connections from all London Airports with Norwegian, SAS and other airlines. Norwegian may have some direct flights from Stansted, but typically only on certain week days. SAS flies via Oslo and has good connections that make the flight fairly smooth.
Unfortunately, the organizer are not able to cover travel-expenses.
Venue/conference hotel
The conference will take place in Tromsø at Scandic Ishavshotell, in the city center.
The organizer has made reservations for all the invited participants at this hotel.
If you would like to extend your visit for a few days longer, please make your private reservation. There are several other hotels in Tromsø, however June is usually a busy time at the hotels.
