    Forskningsinteresser

    Mitt vitenskapelige arbeid dekker et vidt spekter av forskningsaktiviteter innenfor marin økologi, populasjonsbiologi samt ressurs- og økosystemforvaltning fremst i Barentshavet og i Svalbardsonen men også i Europa. Jeg har publisert flere diversitetsstudier av marine benthos- og fiskesamfunn, larveøkologi, prøvetakingsteori, artsinteraksjonen, bioøkonomi, og aspekter rundt regulering av fiskerier og marine verneområder. Jeg har arbeidet i åpent hav og i isdekket farvann i studiene av benthossamfunn på bløt bunn og hard bunn på haneskjellfelt, rekenes populasjonsbiologi og fiskearters utbredelse i relasjon til temperatur og klima.
