Brechje van Osch is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow (HeLA: Investigating Proxies for Understanding Trajectories: Heritage Language Maintenance and Child Second Language Acquisition in Refugee Contexts) at the Department of Language and Culture at UiT. She studies bi/multilingualism, in particular heritage language acquisition, and aims to investigate 1) which areas of language are susceptible to change in bilingual populations, 2) how two or more languages can influence each other in the bi/multilingual mind and society, and 3) how the quantity and quality of the input determine language development and outcomes in bilinguals.

Forskningsinteresser
