    Forskningsinteresser

My scientific qualifications cover two main fields: law and interdisciplinarity. Law: my doctoral project and early career research (2002-2016) covered the fields of administrative law, Eu law, with a focus on financial supervision, environment (Århus), health, food. Interdisciplinarity: since 2016 I have been applying applied critical legal research to multi-, inter-, and transdisciplinary angles in multilevel governance, indigenous law and methodology, ocean governance, intersectional studies. My research and academic activity have been focusing on regulatory issues connected to international and comparative public law, governance, and regulation in sensitive areas (indigenous rights, nature rights, right to a safe environment, right to food, global health, ethics in public contracts, supervision in financial markets); contract law, torts, property law and liability rules (both of States and individuals). My professional experience as an attorney (Italian State exam: 2003-2004) and legal consultant covered also the different sectors of private law (family law, property law, contract, and torts), administrative law, and civil procedure. In addition to it, I have also more than ten years’ experience as legal counsel and external consultant for private companies, academic institutions, and international organizations supporting transition economies to implement global regulatory standard.

    Undervisning

Experience: In the past 22 years, I had been fortunate to obtain a wide range of teaching experiences. Recently, I developed an online interactive course on Administrative Law in the framework of the Agenda 2030 (SDGs), a course on Public Law for Economics, and a course for Ph.D. Students on Writing and Communication Skills. Previously, I was appointed by the University of Torino, the University of Piemonte Orientale, Wageningen University and Research, and other European and international high education institutions, as an adjunct professor, senior lecturer, guest lecturer, mentor, tutor, and trainer to trainers, as well as a course designer leader, to doctoral, postgraduate, undergraduate courses, and training to civil servants (Ethiopia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Sweden, Norway, Nl, Canada).

Teaching subjects: innovative approaches to administrative law, public law, EU law, contract law, tort law, liability and property law, labor law, environmental and food law, public procurement law, ethics and fraud, and public law for economics; Scandinavian legal thinking and realism. Courses on methodology: indigenous methodology, communication skills for lawyers, critical legal thinking, academic writing for Ph.D. students (Norway, Kenya, Canada). My teaching expertise covers the national, comparative, and global perspectives.
