Stillingsbeskrivelse

Professor  innen industriell matvitenskap. Diplomingeniørgrad fra NTNU og RWTH Aachen  (1983)og  doktorgard  fra NTNU (1988). 

Arbeider med sjømat og helseeffekter og da spesielt  foredlingens effekt på ernæringskvalitet.  Underviser i mattrygghet (enhetsopperasjoner i næringsmiddelindustrien og prosjektering av anlegg  for matproduksjon) og er tilknyttet  forsknings gruppen Sjømatvitenskap.  

Representant i  en rekke nasjonale og internasjonale  komiteer /prosjekter.

Fortiden knyttet  til  forskningsprosjektene SEYFISH (H2020), Sechelles Child development study SDCS og AQUAVITAE (H2020).
