My research focuses on ecological physiology, endocrinology and ecotoxicology of free-living avian and mammal species. I am particularly interested in the proximate physiological mechanisms that underlie organismal-level life-history trade-offs between the energy allocated to survival and to reproduction (i.e. cost of reproduction) in Arctic species.
