Arktisk marin biolog spesial interessert i biodiversitet, is-pelagisk kopplungs prosesser og nærings-web-studier. Veldig god faglig bakgrunn i sjøis fauna og flora, protister, plante- og dyreplankton. Kunnskap i molecular analyser (HTS, Sanger, TSA FISH, bioinformatikk), mikroskopi, økologiske studier og statistikk.
