Monica I. Norvik


Stillingsbeskrivelse

Jeg er utdannet logoped og spesialpedagog, med hovedfag i spesialpedagogikk med fordypning i logopedi, og jeg har en doktorgrad i klinisk lingvistikk om afasi og flerspråklighet. Jeg over 20 års klinisk erfaring fra afasiteamet i Statped (tidligere Bredtvet kompetansesenter) og har vært forsker ved MultiLing, UiO i hele senterets virketid (2013-2024). Har en II-erstilling ved masterutdanningen i logopedi ved NTNU.

Jeg underviser i logopediske emner på logopedutdanningen og underviser også i enkeltemner i spesialpedagogikk.

Jeg veileder masterstudenter i logopedi innen en rekke logopediske temaer, veileder master i spesialpedagogikk, i tillegg til at jeg veileder to ph.d-kandidater i lingvistikk (UiO).

    Forskningsinteresser

    Mine akademiske interesser er logopedi, flerspråklighet og klinisk lingvistikk. Jeg arbeider mest med ervervede språk-, tale- og kommunikasjonsvansker og har en særlig interesse for hvordan kartlegging og klinisk arbeid med flerspråklige personer kan løses, og hvordan arbeid med flerspråklige personer med afasi og flerspråklige personer med demens kan informere lingvistiske modeller for flerspråklig prosessering.
