Eg er leiar for Institutt for fysikk og teknologi sidan 2021, der eg har vore tilsett sidan 1998. Vidare er eg medlem i forskingsgruppa for 'Ultralyd, mikrobølgjer og optikk' og professor i optikk. Spesielt driv eg forsking innan feltet integrert optikk (sjå Forskning).
