Course for UiT employees and students who, based on risk assessment, must have documented safety training.

Course content

This training covers:

  • cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • basic first aid
  • first aid related to laboratory work/ workshops
  • first aid associated wit seagoing expeditions/ fieldwork

Objectives of the course

The objective of the course is to provide qualified first aid training so the participants can fulfil the necessary requirements for their area of work.

Language of instruction and examination

Norwegian and English.

Lecture and practice.
