Students who passed the written Master's Thesis will have to orally defend their Master’s thesis individually within 4 weeks after the Master’s thesis has been submitted. The student and the two examiners will have to agree on the date/time and place for the oral defense (digital or physical). The Master's thesis and oral examination are assessed together. The oral exam can adjust the final grade one grade up or down.
The oral exam consists of an oral presentation by the student of his/her work (up to 20 minutes) with the examiners being present followed by an oral examination/conversation (30 minutes to 1 hour) with the examiners about the Master’s thesis.
