Enikő Molnár-Bodrogi is an associate professor at the Hungarian Literary Studies Department of the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She has a PhD degree in Hungarian literature and another one in Finnish linguistics. Her most important interdisciplinary field of research is the linguistic and ethnic identity of the Meänkieli, Kven, Saami, Csángó and Hungarian minorities.
The lecture analyses topics like the interpretation of national minority existence of the Hungarian minority in Romania between the two World Wars, the bidirectional attempt to construct and deconstruct virtual borders between minorities and majorities as well as the symbolic value of the mother tongue. Literary texts are going to be analysed from the perspective of border studies, cultural and mental landscape studies and identity studies.
