What reuse rights do you have to research data published by others? Very few – unless there is a license (terms of use).
Standard open licenses make data reuse easier. This webinar explains the usual conditions in open licenses, such as the requirement to attribute, the non-commercial condition, the prohibition to build on the dataset and the obligation to share a derived dataset under the same terms.
The webinar will be useful for those who use data collected by others, and for those who are planning to publish their own datasets.
For more information about research data management at UiT, see the UiT Research Data Portal.
The webinar is hosted by Aysa Ekanger and Stian Lillejord.
Welcome!
