Fakta
My name is Syed Mohammad Taha, and I am from Pakistan. I am currently a MSc Engineering Design student at the University of Tromsø, and I am spending this semester on an exchange programme at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). My experience here has been truly remarkable — I have made new friends and met dorm mates from a wide range of backgrounds.
The exposure I have gained, both socially and academically, is very different from what I was accustomed to. In the world of exchange studies, everything operates in a unique way and at a much faster pace. The course structure at DTU is particularly appealing; there is a much greater focus on coursework than on examinations, which allows for a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the subjects.
The campus itself is enormous and divided into four quadrants, each hosting various technical departments, laboratories, and canteens.
In conclusion, an exchange programme brings together a diverse group of people, encouraging an understanding of different cultures and helping students develop the flexibility needed to adapt to a new living environment.
