23.08.2023 First short course planned

The first short course for transferrable skills training for the PhD students of the HotBio network will be arranged at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland, on November 21 and 22, 2023. More info will be provided later, but please save the dates.

31.01.2023 Position available at the University of Aberdeen

The Marine Biodiscovery Centre in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Aberdeen has now announced the PhD position they will host in the HotBio project. The title of the project is "Discovery of novel bioactive compounds from marine microorganisms", and the announcment can be found here. The application deadline is 13.02.2023.

06.01.2023 Position avalable at GEOMAR

The PhD position hosted by GEOMAR is now announced. The project title is "Extremophilic microorganisms against human, agricultural and aquacultural infections", and the application deadline is 17.02.2023.

22.12.2022 Position now available at Nicolaus Copernicus University

The PhD position hosted by Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland is now announced. The title of the project is "Untapped potential of actinobacteria from aquatic environments as a source of novel bioactive compounds", and we encourage motivated young researchers with interests in microbiology and natural products to apply.
