Ansvarlig Kapping og Avfallshåndtering for Plastforsøplingsfri sjømat Produksjon (AVKAPP)
Målet med AVKAPP er å identifisere lekkasjepunkter for avkapp fra bøting på trål og snurrevad og utvikle konkrete, bærekraftige løsninger som kan forhindre at avkapp havner i sjøen. Dette gjelder hele fiskenettverdikjeden, fra bøting til avfallshåndtering både på båt og i havn.
Denne kunnskapen vil vi bruke til å identifisere løsninger som kan hindre at avkapp havner på havet i lag med næringen og komme med konkrete anbefalinger til tiltak.

Responsible Cut-off and Waste Management for Plastic Pollution-Free Seafood Production (AVKAPP)
The goal of AVKAPP is to identify leakage points for cut-offs from net repairs of trawls and seines and to develop concrete, sustainable solutions that can prevent cut-offs from ending up in the sea. This applies to the entire fishing net value chain, from repairs to waste management both on the boat and at the port.
We will use this knowledge to identify solutions, in collaboration with the industry, that can prevent cut-offs from ending up in the ocean and provide concrete recommendations for measures.
AVKAPP is funded by the Norwegian Retailers' Environmental Fund.
