Ar2CorD at Betongfagdag 2026 during Vinterfestuka in Narvik
The Ar2CorD project will be represented at Betongfagdag 2026, held during Vinterfestuka in Narvik on 18–19 March 2026. The event brings together students, researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals for two days of technical insight, discussion, and networking in a unique Arctic setting.
As part of the programme, Iveta Nováková (UiT – The Arctic University of Norway) will give a presentation on 19 March 2026, from 14:15 to 14:25, entitled:
“Long-term monitoring station in Narvik Harbour – development of new measurement methods for freeze–thaw testing”
The presentation will introduce the long-term monitoring station established in Narvik Harbour, a key contribution from UiT to the Ar2CorD project. It will also highlight the development of new methods for studying freeze–thaw performance of concrete under real Arctic exposure conditions.
In addition, Boy-Arne Persson-Buyle (UiT – The Arctic University of Norway) will give a speech, followed by presentations of student papers from the UiT Department of Building, Energy and Material Technology on 19 March 2026, from 14.35-14.45.
Betongfagdag 2026 is organised by Betongklyngen CIC, Norwegian Concrete Association, and Norwegian Association for Concrete Rehabilitation, and offers a comprehensive technical programme combined with social activities, including a conference dinner and networking at Scandic Narvik.
