Call for proposals: UiT Tematiske satsinger
The University board decided in the fall of 2018 to introduce important changes to the program - UiT Tematiske satsinger. As of the 2019 call, the number of faculties/units required per project proposal is set to a minimum of 2 (down from 3). Read more. This funding instrument is to encourage new interdepartmental (faculty/unit) research projects that takes on an interdisciplinary approach encouraged by UiT´s satsingsområder to create new conceptual, theoretical, methodological, and translational innovations that integrate and move beyond discipline-specific approaches to address a common problem. Results from the project should open up new possibilities that bring about new scientific questions that meets national and international priorities of programs funding research projects.
