European Commission-professor is new adjunct professor at UiT
Andrea Tilche, Head of Unit, Climate Action and Earth Observations, Directorate General for Research and Innovation at the European Commission, has been hired as adjunct professor at UiT.
Andrea Tilche is employed to strengthen the university’s position in work against climate change.
- I’m starting the collaboration with UiT to help the university increase its international activity, and to help better position the university into the climate change domain, says Tilche.
He believes UiT has an important role in solving the problems around climate change. See the full interview with Andrea Tilche here:
Tilche will speak during “Arctic Frontiers” on Tuesday at 17.30, and he invites everyone to come listen. His speech about collaboration in the Arctic is free and open to the public.
