Tid: torsdag 08. mars kl. 20:00 - 22:00
Sted: Tromsø bibliotek og byarkiv, plan 2
The melting of the sea ice enables the possibility for ships to cross the Arctic sea routes to Asia. Last year China incorporated The Arctic into the national infrastructure building plan, that includes developing a polar silk road.
- Is China’s activity in the Arctic a threat or a possibility for other actors in the region?
- What does the Chinese plan for Arctic development look like?
- Will China be able to implement sustainable and responsible development of the Arctic region?
