UiT Innovation Days 2026: How can your research make a real difference in society?
How can we increase the societal impact of our research?
Research can change society – but how do we ensure that knowledge is actually put to use? At this year’s Innovation Days, you will gain inspiration, practical examples and tools that can help you increase the societal impact of your own research.
UiT Innovation Days will take place on 19–20 October 2026 at the Tromsø campus, with live streaming to the other campuses.
Innovation Days are relevant to anyone who wants to help ensure that research is put into practice, creates value and makes a difference to society. Participants will gain new perspectives and practical tools for increasing the use and impact of their research.
The programme includes:
- engaging presentations by national and international experts
- practical examples from research groups at UiT
- interactive sessions and opportunities to share experiences
- inspiration on how research can reach a wider audience and be put to use
