The Research Counil of Norway, in cooperation with Europa Media Group, will offer three workshops on Horizon Europe proposal writing and project management at UiT between 15-18 October, 2024.

The three workshops are directed at researchers and project administrators interested in international cooperative projects (Pillar 2 - Global Challenges and European Industrial Competetiveness) in the framework of Horizon Europe:

  • October 15-16 (for researchers): Horizon Europe Proposal Writing Focus: Impact. The course provides an introduction to project development in Horizon Europe (work programme, subject and announcements, application process, what characterizes applications to Horizon Europe, the various project types, and also application preparation). During the course, we will go through the application process from idea to finished project proposal, and you will get to test yourself through a practical exercise. Register here (participation is free but subject to a fee in case of no-show).
  • October 17 (for researchers and project administrators): Horizon Europe Lump Sum Proposal Writing. Lump Sum funding is increasingly used in Horizon Europe to simplify the program by removing the need to report actual costs and reducing the financial error rate. It is intended to simplify the funding mechanism while all the main features of research funding remain the same. This course deep-dives into the concept and practical implications of lump sum funding. Register here (participation is free but subject to a fee in case of no-show).
  • October 18 (for project administrators): Horizon Europe Project Management and Reporting. This is a practical course on project management, reporting and practical day-to-day follow-up of a project. During the course, we go through the financial rules and reporting protocols that apply in Horizon Europe. Register here (participation is free but subject to a fee in case of no-show).

Light lunch and snacks will be provided during the workshops. If you have any questions, contact Inger Nordgard (NFR) or Kata Bohus (UiT).
