This page contains the requirements and procedure for submitting your work for the WEEPE 2023 conference. Please read all the information before submitting.

Full paper

A provisional full paper should me made according to the following requirements:

  • maximum 8 pages, including references;
  • the abstract should be maximum 50 words;
  • include the topic number and indicate your preference for dialog or poster presentation;
  • the provisional paper should be anonymous;
  • before submission, the document should be checked using IEEE PDF eXpress (see submission procedure).

Accepted papers that are presented at the workshop will be published in IEEE Xplore after the event.

Extended abstract

As an alternative to full paper, it is possible to submit an extended abstract according to the following requirements:

  • maximum two pages including references and figures;
  • include the topic number and indicate your preference for dialog or poster presentation;
  • the provisional paper should be anonymous;

Extended abstracts must be presented at the workshop, but will not be uploaded to IEEE Xplore or any other online database.

Both the full paper and extended abstract should follow the IEEE Conference Proceeding template available at: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html.

Submission procedure

Before uploading your submission, check if your PDF is IEEE Xplore compatible using the IEEE PDF eXpress tool:

Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress TM site

First-time users should do the following:

  1. Select the New Users - Click Here link.
  2. Enter the following:
    58303X for the Conference ID
    your email address
    a password
  3. Continue to enter information as prompted.

An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent
verifying your account setup.

Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same
password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.

  • Extended abstract: April 1st, 2023 -> April 30th, 2023
  • Full-paper submission: April 1st, 2023 -> April 30th, 2023
  • Acceptance notification: April 15th, 2023 -> May 15th, 2023
  • Final paper submission: May 1st, 2023 -> May 31st, 2023
