The Norwegian Programme for Development, Research and Education (NUFU)
The NUFU programme supports independent academic cooperation based on initiatives from researchers and institutions in the South and their partners in Norway.The scheme for NUFU Supplementing Activities (SA) provides supplementary support to NUFU- projects in the fourth period of the NUFU Programme (2007-2011).

The activities supporting the collaborative projects are:
1. Publication and dissemination of research results (maks NOK 150.000)
2. Institutional contact visit South-South (maks NOK 150.000)
3. Regional seminar for PhD candidates (maks NOK 200.000)
4. Staff development activities (maks NOK 150.000)
5. Scientific equipment and relevant training (maks NOK 350.000)
6. Force majeure (maks NOK 400.000)
7. Guest researcher and lecturer visit (maks NOK 200.000)
The category ‘Guest researcher and lecturer visit’ is the only category open to researchers outside NUFU supported projects. This category is not open to researchers that are already involved in NUFU supported projects.
