Incoming exchange students: how to apply for housing

Housing for incoming exchange students is managed by a seperate organization called The Norwegian Arctic Student Welfare Organisation (Samskipnaden)

HOW TO APPLY FOR HOUSING

Incoming exchange students: after the submission of your application for exchange, you must apply for housing without delay to reserve a room at The Norwegian Arctic Student Welfare Organisation (Samskipnaden)

Please make sure that you mention in the comment field in your application for housing the starting date of your exchnage at UiT, and that you are an exchange student. NOTE! Choose at least 3 rooms when applying for housing.

You can cancel your reservation later if you decide NOT to accept your offer of admission.

Deadline for applying for housing: 31 MAY (autumn semester) and 30 OCTOBER (spring semester).
