Dr. Roald A. Øien, PhD is Professor of Special Education / Developmental Psychology at the Department of Education, UiT - The Arctic University of Norway, Clinical Professor at UNN and Assistant Professor of Developmental disabilities at Yale Child Study Center. Dr. Øien serves as Associate Editor of Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders (Springer/Nature). Research focus on developmental psychology, psychopathology and special education. His research focuses on early developmental, behavioral and temperamental features in children with and without neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. Øien also serves at Global Senior Leader for International Society for Autism Research (INSAR).
