Nestleder forskning ved Institutt for samfunnsmedisin. Jeg er også en del av forskningsgruppen Systemepidemiologi og forsker på markører vi kan måle i blod for å forstå mer om sykdommer og hvordan ulike miljøeksponeringer påvirker kroppen vår. Jeg jobber spesielt med markører som ofte kalles 'omics-markører' (for eksempel genetikk, genutrrykk og DNA metylering) som mellomledd mellom eksponering og kroppens reaksjon på påvirkningen eller kreft. Jeg har også jobbet i ulike prosjekter som fokuserte på miljøgifter og har jobbet mye med statistiske analyser selv.
