Stillingsbeskrivelse

Forskningen min fokuserer på betongteknologi, sementbaserte kompositter, alternativ bindemiddelutvikling, fiberarmert betong for prefabrikerte applikasjoner, oppførselen til betong utsatt for høye temperaturer og resirkulering og gjenbruk av bygge- og rivningsavfall. Avhandlingsemnet mitt var "Studie av sementholdig betongspalling på grunn av høy temperatur" oppnådd i februar 2021. Jeg er en del av forskerteamet til to prosjekter som forsker på industriell anvendelse av resirkulerte betongtilslag og alternative supplerende sementholdige materialer som en delvis erstatning av naturlige tilslag og sement i produksjon av ny betong. Videre er jeg involvert i eksperimentelt arbeid med fokus på alternative supplerende sementholdige materialer, utvikling av betong for lavradioaktivt avfallslagring, vurdering av fersk betongegenskaper med reometer og viskosimeter, utnyttelse av miljøvennlige basaltmikrofibre og basaltkompositter som erstatning for stål og syntetiske fibre i betongproduksjon og testing av standard og nye typer tilsetningsstoffer, spesielt luftinndragende midler. Videre er mitt fokus på materialer basert på ulike kjemiske reaksjoner, som alkaliaktiverte materialer, av jernbaserte bindemidler. Jeg har etablert og leder forskningsgruppen DeTeA
«Byggematerialer: design-testing-applikasjon» ved UiT siden 2022.
