    Forskningsinteresser

    Elin Lehnbom er en erfaren farmasøyt med en gedigen akademisk og forskningsbakgrunn. Hun har en bachelorgrad i farmasi, en mastergrad i farmasøytisk vitenskap og en mastergrad i klinisk farmasi. Doktorgraden hennes, med tittelen "Quality Use of Medicines in chronic illness management: the role of pharmacists and the use of e-Health," ble fullført ved University of Sydney, Australia. Etter å ha tilbrakt 3,5 år som postdoktorforsker ved Centre for Health Systems and Safety Research ved UNSW og 2 år som førstelektor i sosial farmasi ved University of Sydney, flyttet hun til Tromsø i 2017. Her arbeider hun som førsteamanuensis i klinisk farmasi. I 2022-2023 gjennomførte hun et forskningsopphold ved Sonderegger Research Center for Improved Medication Outcomes, School of Pharmacy, University of Wisconsin – Madison, der hun var involvert i et prosjekt som fokuserte på å omforme apotek for å redusere potensielt skadelig bruk av reseptfrie medisiner blant eldre.

    I sin forskning bruker hun både kvalitative og kvantitative metoder for å undersøke måter å forbedre legemiddelbruk på, spesielt gjennom effektiv bruk av informasjons- og kommunikasjonsverktøy. Hun er i stand til å etablere og opprettholde vellykkede samarbeid, noe som tydelig fremgår av hennes omfattende arbeid, inkludert 116 fagfellevurderte artikler, konferansbidrag, debattinnlegg og mer.

    Undervisning

    Elin Lehnbom er en engasjert pedagog med en solid bakgrunn innen undervisning, med fullført pedagogisk portefølje siden 2018. Hun har veiledet 23 masterstudenter og veileder for øyeblikket to doktorgradskandidater. Hennes undervisningsfilosofi legger vekt på engasjement, og hun benytter en rekke undervisningsmetoder, inkludert forelesninger, workshops, veiledning, quizer, rollespill og videoer. I 2022 ble jeg, sammen med to kolleger, tildelt utdanningspriset ved Det helsevitenskaplige fakultet, UiT Norges arktiske universitet, for vårt arbeid med å utvikle ulike praksismuligheter for våre studenter.
