The aim of my PhD project "Glacial activity and palaeo-environments on NE Greenland since the Last Glacial Maximum” is to integrate swath bathymetry, high-resolution seismics and sediment cores from NE Greenland fjord systems with the purpose of reconstructing palaeo-environmental conditions on and offshore NE Greenland. Particular focus will be the study of glacial sedimentary processes, the identification and interpretation of glacial and non-glacial landforms and deposits on the seafloor, the establishment of seismo-stratigraphies, as well as multi-proxy analyses of sediment cores, with particular emphasis on the latter.
