Type of course

The individual special curriculum is a master level course for physics students. The course is not available as a singular course.

The student must arrange for a special curriculum with a faculty member at the Department of physics and technology, and the application must include a description of the special curriculum and a supervision contract.

Application for approval of a special curriculum must be submitted to the studentadministration at the Department of physics and technology by September 1st/February 1st. Ordinary registration for the exam via Studentweb.

Course content

The course content varies and is spesified in the application the student and the supervisor submits to the department administration. The course can have a theoretical or practical content, or a combination of both.

The form of examination is determided in connection with approval of the individual special curriculum.
