You have to be admitted to a PhD program at an EUGLOH partner (this includes UiT).
Participants will be selected from the pool of applicants based on a required short motivational statement.

Course content
This dynamic course is specifically designed to equip doctoral candidates with the essential skills to excel in teamworking and networking within both academic and professional contexts. Understanding the pivotal role that collaboration and professional connections play in today's research environments, the course provides an in-depth exploration of strategies to build and nurture effective teams and expansive networks. Delving into the core components of each skillset, the course focuses on effective teamwork and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, communication, and trust in teamworking. Simultaneously, with regards to networking, the course addresses the best practices for strategic networking, professional visibility, interdisciplinarity, and the cultivation of deeper relationships. By navigating these components, candidates will actively refine their teamwork approaches and networking acumen, ensuring they are well-prepared to contribute to and lead within multi-disciplinary teams. What it more, by immersing into both conceptual work and practical exercises for each component, the course participants candidates will develop the ability to forge and sustain valuable relationships, leading to increased opportunities and a stronger presence in the knowledge economy. Ultimately, this course not only enhances doctoral candidates' immediate academic collaborations but also sets the foundation for their future success in the global labor market.Objectives of the course
