Course content

In the final semester, students will primarily focus on the completion of their exam project, which will culminate in a group graduate exhibition. Additionally, students will be required to write a project outline describing their graduation project.

Objectives of the course

After completing the course, the student has the following learning outcomes:

Knowledge

Ability to plan, participate in and conduct a group exhibition
Explicate knowledge about planning and implementation of issuing a publication

Skills

Ability to produce, present and show an individual work/project at a professional level in the context of a group exhibition
Ability to produce and present text at a professional level
Ability to contribute to a publication

General competence

An understanding of professional art production

Language of instruction and examination

English

Teaching methods

Lectures, seminars, workshops, studio visits, group critique, supervision and independent work in studio.

The following coursework requirements must be approved before the exam:

A brief written project outline describing the graduation project

The course requirements shall consist of a text that contextualize and describe the graduation project. It should include information about ideas, title of the project, media specificity, the scope of the project and materials that are used. The text must be a minimum of 300 word or a maximum of 600 word.

The presentation will last for 10 minutes. The examination and feedback from the examiners last for 35 minutes. The exam will last for a total of 45 minutes.
