The first ever conference on fusion energy to be arranged in Norway
This is the forum to present and discuss the fusion research activities in the Swedish, Danish, Finnish and Norwegian fusion research units. The meeting has been planned in tight collaboration between the fusion of research units of Denmark, Finland and Sweden.
Invited plenary speakers include ITER Organization Section Leader Richard Pitts, EUROfusion Program Manager Gianfranco Federici, IEA Chair of FPCC David Maisonnier, and Commonwealth Fusion Systems Head of SPARC Physics Operations Devon Battaglia.
The first Joint Nordic Fusion Energy Seminar took place in Stockholm in 2014, the second one in Espoo in 2017, the third in Copenhagen in 2019 and the fourth in Gothenburg in 2023.
