On his day Thursday November 21 when the sun disappears in Tromsø for 2 months,
12:15-13:00 Liv Helene Willumsen, professor emerita of history, will talk about the Finnmark witchcraft trials, a persecution of alleged witches which took place in the seventeenth century in the very North of Norway. She will also talk about Steilneset memorial in Vardø, a memorial to commemorate the victims of the Finnmark witchcraft trials.
Then, after a short break, 13:00-13:15,
13:15-13:45 Jorge Santos. Lilli Mittner and others will give prices and certificates to the winners of the photo competition "First impressions.." Photo competition for all exchange students at UiT | UiT
from 13:45-15 There will be as last year a buffet of Christmas food including vegetarian alternatives served by Samskipnaden.
There is set a maximum number of 85 participants due to the capacity of seats in the Bazinga Cafeteria.
